What it takes to buy happiness, can we gift it to Arnav?

Happiness, one of the most used words in the twenty-first century. There are lots of philosophies around the concept of happiness. Few of them are like happiness multiplies by sharing, happiness is a state of mind and needs to be searched inside a person, etc., But keeping aside those things, most of us do not have time to stop and think about ourselves. Most of us never take time to think about ourselves and our actions, do retrospective thinking, try to unlearn or try to stay happy from inside. So what all things make it to our time-list that we do not find time to spend for ourselves? We are kept down by the stereotypes that have been put in place by society. What are some of those? Happiness lies in hanging out with people, spending on stuff that society conforms to, extroverts are better than introverts and so on. So these things may or may not be true. I would like to defer. We need not conform to the societal expectations to be happy ourselves. It is a smoke screen that we create based on the incorrect paradigms. So I am putting forth my opinion on happiness and how we can learn to be happy by doing small and simple things rather than trying to be posing differently from our own self. Starting with the concept of appreciating small things around us and appreciating people for taking efforts. Most of us never give importance to details. And most of the people long for appreciation for the efforts they take. But we are the same people who never appreciate small things around us. Kindly understand the difference you can bring about in someone’s day by just appreciating or taking note of their effort and acknowledging that effort. Be it the food cooked by your mother/father and acknowledging that it tastes good, it starts from there and goes on till going out of your way to bring a smile to someone by empathising with them. People always want to see only the top end of the spectrum which is going out of the way to empathising and doing big things. People, most of them, mostly underrate the power of small things and small actions.

So I am calling upon everyone to kindly think about making small contributions daily in terms of a smile, in terms of a wish, in terms of being considerate, in terms of listening to someone, contributing monetarily as and when possible. Arnav, a 7-year old kid, is waiting and racing against time to get recognised and yearning for the opportunity to live a normal life away from cancer. We at Caring Souls Foundation are trying to bridge the gap between the people who are in need of help and those who are willing to help and do not have time to do so. So we bring to you people an opportunity to do your part and go close in imbibing the habit of doing small things to keep yourselves happy. And that is achieved by our 50 Rupees campaign. Contribute your share of rupees 50 and help people know that something like this is in existence and make the dream of Arnav come true. Below is the link to unlock the feeling of contributing small.
